Tour with the Peggy's Cove Express!

Join us aboard the Peggy’s Cove Express for a true maritime experience for the Lobsters & Lighthouses Tour.  Departing 7 days a week from the Halifax Waterfront, we head out into the Great North Atlantic.  Guests will enjoy a brief commentary of the Halifax Harbour in preparation to help the captain and crew pull up the lobster trap.  The captain and crew will educate guests on the lobster fishing industry in Nova Scotia and the life cycle of a lobster and other crustaceans.  Guests will have the rare opportunity of holding a live lobster.

Upon releasing the traps back into the ocean the Captain will make his way towards the first of three lighthouses guests will view on the trip.  The captain and crew will educate guests on the importance that lighthouses play in the mariner boating trade in Nova Scotia.  Guests will learn how the lighthouses were operated in the past and how they are operated in the present.
