Captain Murphy

Gerard Murphy was born and raised in Halifax Nova Scotia. He began Murphy’s Cable Wharf with his sailing vessel the Mar which he purchased from the Pusser’s Rum Company. Mr. Murphy passed down both his keen interest in sailing and his company to his children. Over the years the Captain and his family have expanded their business to include 8 other tour boats, a restaurant, a gift store, and several ticketing locations.
