Residents of Halifax are referred to as Haligonians. The aptly named Haligonian III has been a resident of Halifax Harbour for over 25 years operating as a tour boat. The vessel was purchased by Murphy’s Cable Wharf in 1992 and has been used for nature and whale watching tours ever since. The Haligonian III features:

• 194 person capacity
• 2 levels: Upper deck is open to the air for best sighting capabilities, lower level is heated and enclosed
• Fully licensed bar and washroom facilities
• Full catering services available for receptions and lunches
• Area for entertainment and presentations
• Wheelchair- limited accessiblity with assistance
• Charter rate $875 + tax per hour
